A generous mouth-blown glass cakestand with a wide rimmed plate, thick stem and broad glass foot. A large dome with fine handle fits on top. For large layered cakes, individual pastries or a pile of scones.
Created by master glass artists, the foot of the cakestand is shaped & applied by hand to the stem while the glass is still malleable. The dome handle is drawn from molten glass and applied by hand. The rims are melted under a flame to achieve a soft rounded finish.
